If You Will Not Listen
"This is wrong."
Luna could hear her sister rolling her eyes. This must have been the sixteenth time she'd made the accusation against the wedding, and the night princess could tell that her sister was running out of patience.
"Luna, for the last time, the wedding will be fine. All the preparations are going just fine and no more threats have been made."
"You know that's not what I'm talking about." Celestia stood up and shook out her mane. Luna watched her from where she sat across the room, on a small podium. Her sister had been forcing her to try on dresses for the wedding ceremony.
"We've been over this; there is nothing wrong with Ca

Chapter Fifteen: The Rainbow of Life
Sandy smiled as the last of the dream trails hurried out the window. That was the last of the dreams for now, and heaving a silent sigh, he turned back to the room. All was quiet; it had been a long day. The rest of the Guardians were asleep on the couch. Snoring at one end was Tooth, with North in the middle and Bunnymund asleep on the other end. Jack was motionless on the Pooka's lap. The small man looked around, a frown appearing. A soft rustle drew his attention and he floated into the Globe Room to find Joey balanced on the railing in front of the globe.
"Hi, Sandy," the teen murmured, not turning f

He coughed. Where was he? Somewhere dark. He pulled himself into a sitting position, stretching sore muscles. Slowly, his eyes began to adjust to the inky blackness. Was he alone? No, a motionless form lay in the corner, curled up like a newborn. He crawled over. His memory won't register the face, but he pulled them onto his lap nonetheless, supporting the limp head and rubbing their back comfortingly. A melody bubbled from behind his lips. It had no words, for he didn't know the song, nor did he ever remember learning the tune. But he hummed anyway. After a few minutes, the person began to stir. Ice blue eyes

Chapter Thirteen: Free Jack
A huge gray bird landed next to them, revealing Berry on its back, along with the girl who'd helped abduct Joey - Little, right? They leapt off its back and ran into Olivia's waiting arms.
"Jack is being held in a prison near the edge of the Shadowlands," Berry said, looking up at her sister. "We tried to get him out, but they're getting help from Prince."
"Well, we'll just have to fix that, now won't we?" growled Olivia, eyes narrowing. She looked behind her, and then Bunnymund realized that in his rage he'd gone outside. "TIME!" The adult ran outside, followed by Nellie Ruth.
"What happened? Didja find J'ey?"

Chapter Twelve: Welcome To Hell
It was dark. Not nighttime dark, but so dark that Bunnymund couldn't see his paw two inches in front of his face. He could only feel Jack's hand in his, and said winter spirit was pressing against him, obviously uncomfortable with his inability to see. Two red eyes glowed at him, and the Pooka took a hesitant step forward. There was nothing else he could do. They followed the eyes for a while, until he took a step and the ground had vanished. Screams echoed around them as the pair fell. Time seemed to pause. Abruptly, the breath left Bunnymund's body as he hit the ground and darkness of a different kind rolled

He woke to a shriek. Hands clutched at his fur as Jack buried his face in the Pooka's chest fur, allowing his older brother to pull him into a hug. Bunnymund pulled himself up, bringing the winter spirit with him, as footsteps pounded to the door and the other Guardians burst into the room.
"What happened?!" North roared. Tooth took one look at them and zipped over, cooing softly and petting Jack's head. The other two started to walk over, but froze as a song called out from behind them.
"When she was just a girl,
she expected the world.
But it flew away from her reach,
so she ran away in her sleep.

Chapter Ten: A Small Hope
All was quiet when Bunnymund bounded up onto the workshop floor. The three older Guardians were asleep near the Globe, each with at least one finger on Joey's train. He snuck past them and headed towards Joey's room, willing to bet money that Jack was there.
"Frostbite?" he called quietly. The winter spirit had been lying the bed, but he sat up at the sound of his nickname.
"BUNNY!" The Pooka caught the teen as he ran into furry arms and hugged him tightly. "You're back! I thought you weren't coming b
